We have been in our house now for 4 years. We always enjoy coming home to our warm house with no draughts. The inside temperature is consistent right throughout the house so we have forgotten what it used to be like in a conventional house in winter when you move away from your heated lounge/living area to a cold bathroom and bedroom. Another feature, which we weren’t expecting, is its sturdiness combined with its inherent sound proofing, there is no creaking or groaning in wild windy weather. We sometimes wake in the morning to look out the window to see obvious signs of their having been wild weather in the night, of which we were completely unaware.

You get a house with a healthy environment — there’s no condensation, no mould and no heating costs. It made sense to build this way. I like that you can control the humidity levels and the little things you notice, like the bedding is always dry.
