We employed Hofmans Builders to project manage and build our architecturally designed house in 2013, completed in 2014. We found Steve was very personable and easy to work with, and we are very pleased with the standard and quality of the work. It wasn’t a straightforward build and Steve had to liaise with the architect and structural engineer in Auckland, and tradesmen who we employed to fit out aspects of the interior.

Prior to the build Steve spent a lot of time with us working out details and exploring many different options. He was easy to talk to and explained technical details clearly. As the build progressed Steve was always available to meet us on site and discuss any issues and questions. He actively listened to our ideas and came up with practical solutions.

Building a house is inherently stressful but also exciting and we very much appreciated having Steve guide us through it and ultimately create the home that we had dreamed about.
